Deletion is permanent.
Once your account is deleted, your prayers, journal entries, habits, reading progress, and settings cannot be recovered. Consider exporting your data first from Profile → Export Data.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)
- Open the Gracelio app on your iPhone or Android device.
- Tap Profile in the bottom navigation.
- Scroll to Delete Account at the bottom of the settings list.
- Confirm the prompt. Your account is deleted immediately.
You'll be signed out and returned to the sign-in screen. Your data is removed from our production systems right away.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, send an email from the address you used to register:

What gets deleted
- Your profile (display name, avatar, email).
- All prayers, journal entries, and gratitude notes.
- All habits, reading plan progress, and reflections.
- Your church affiliation and invite codes.
- Notification preferences and push tokens.
- Subscription entitlement records held by Gracelio.
What may be retained
- Backups containing your data are rotated on the ordinary schedule and fully purged within 60 days.
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics that cannot identify you may be retained.
- Billing records held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat are kept per their policies and applicable tax law.
Cancelling your subscription
Deleting your Gracelio account does not cancel a paid subscription. Apple and Google manage billing separately. Please also cancel there:
- iPhone / iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Gracelio → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play Store → menu → Subscriptions → Gracelio → Cancel.
Immediate in-app
Deletion from Profile removes your account and data right away.
Within 7 business days
Email requests are verified and completed.
Within 60 days
Purged from backup rotation.
